34th Annual Nonsuch Summer Course

Ashville College, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. 20th to 24th August 2010

In 2010, for the first time in the 34 years of running historical dance schools, the Summer School will be open to instrumental musicians who would like to play for dancing. The course will follow the historical development in dance, from the earliest medieval references to the Twentieth Century. Highlights will include dances connected to the local area, including Knaresborough Castle, Ripley Castle, Castle Howard, The Victorian Spa and Pump Rooms, and Agatha Christie

MOVE IT is the UK's biggest dance event that's taking Britain by storm! The show kicks off on the 11th - 14th March at London's OIympia for an amazing celebration of dance in all its forms.

4th July 2010, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. BIG DANCE 2010

World Record Breaking Biggest English Country Dance event on the large green open space of The Stray, Harrogate. The event will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Hodsall’s Country Dance Book of 1810, which includes the Harrogate Lodge country dance. Other dances with a local connection from the Joshua Jackson Dance Collection, including the Trip to Harrogate, and Trip to Oatlands House – which is now part of St Aidan’s School on the Stray itself!
